VEZU received the first batch of new Scania trucks

On Friday, September 29, the official dealer of the Swedish carmaker Scania LLC "Scania Service" held a solemn transfer of the first 20 Scania R400 trucks. A total of 100 vehicles are expected to be purchased under the contract, 60 of which will be delivered in three batches this fall, and another 40 in early 2018. The lessor for this transaction was the company "Scania Leasing". 

It is planned to use the new equipment on the most current and promising routes of the company.

"We signed one of the largest contracts in the company's history. At the moment, we are convinced that this is the right investment, because we consider Scania trucks to be the best in their segment. Today, we already clearly understand what areas the new equipment will work in and what tasks we will be able to solve with it, so we are confident that this transaction will provide significant economic growth for VEZU in the coming years, " commented Nikolai Verkhovtsev, CEO of VEZU.

Scania R 400 LA4x2HNA trucks are equipped with inline 6-cylinder diesel engines that meet Euro-4 environmental standards. They are capable of developing a power of 400 HP at 1900 rpm.

 

In addition, the vehicles are equipped with an advanced emergency braking system EBS and cruise control system. The comfortable R-series cab with climate control system, heated driver's seat, outdoor storage box and two sleeping places will allow any driver to feel comfortable all the way.
